You know how sometimes when a series ends, you wish it hadn't? I'm mourning the loss of these people. I want to know what's happening to them now, and if anybody died, and who's in love with whom.
Only downside was that the British accents were hard for us to get a grip on half the time. But the actors were simply spectacular at their craft.

(3,539 posts)And we feel the same way. Its frustrating to get emotionally invested in a show that ends before the creators wanted it to end.

(12,151 posts)We never got to find out what happened to the girl trapped in that horrid school. And what about Anne in college? So many other seasons could have been written.

(666 posts)I couldn't get enough of Alan and Caroline but Celia and Gillian drove me nuts. The conversations between Cariline and Gillian were great.

(12,151 posts)But Gillian was one of my favorites. So flawed, but basically a good person (the murder aside.)

(17,515 posts)I saw it several years ago and was so happy when they made another season. I watched with caption on so I didnt miss anything. The actress who plays Gillian is in River. Its a crime drama. Very different but very, very good.

(105,930 posts)There is a real sense of sadness when it ends. For a little while, I will randomly watch some episodes, but it is an interesting phenomenon.
