The first two episodes of season 22 are available on Acorn. The rest of the season coming this fall.

I have watched every single episode. It is one of my favorites.

Then they got tedious.

They almost all seem to deal with suspects engaging in deviant sexual practices, like incest and molestation. Back in the early 2000's when the show originally aired, homosexuality was included in the plots as one of the 'deviant' practices. If the series was launched today, there would likely be a lot less of the breathless 'can you imagine?' talk among the main characters about a suspect or murder victim who was gay.

Barnaby, his wife, and his daughter are all thoroughly charming. If the show was a domestic drama focusing on them, I'd probably still enjoy it.

or implements, often connected with quaint local festivals or arising from disturbing family relationships. Given the murder rate, this rural English county seemed to be more dangerous than Fallujah.

I’ve wanted the DVDs for quite awhile but they are super expensive. Yesterday or day before I found a 2nd hand set on eBay and I went for it 🙂

I love all the British police dramas.

In general I love Brit shows, actors don't look like they came from Central casting.

I watch more stuff on Youtube than Prime or Netflix. I have premium YouTube that costs $10 a month but it's the best entertainment investment I've made.
