If it's for the Pure Wick system I can tell you I was damned glad for one of those when I broke my hip and had to hang out for a full day before surgery.
Before those, there was little help for women, often getting up every half hour or so at night due to bladder spasms and pelvic floor issues from childbirth. Catheters provided a route for bacterial infection and adult diapers held urine next to the skin, causing rashes and even deep sores.
So suck it up, Buttercup, until we manage to get medical ads off TV, we're stuck with this shit.

(6,810 posts)but it is very practical and saves lives. Yeah, it does. Elderly women are more likely to have falls and the mortality rate after a serious fall is very high. One of the risk factors for falls is incontinence and frequent bathroom trips during the night.
