My local PBS station has been running Miss Marple stories made by BritBox or another one.
The first two The Pale Horse and Towards Zero did not have Miss Marple in the stories so they just added her.
The Blue Geranium was based on a short story- only 15 pages - but they expanded and added side stories.
But The Body in the Library really got me mad. They changed the identity of the murderer to have it a lesbian affair. Agatha Christie would have never written about gay relations. Not in her time period. It was illegal in Britain those days.
It was only after several of them that I finally noticed that the programs were based on the stories.
This evening it is Murder is announced.
(Depends when the President presentation will start.. )
