I just hate Stephen Colbert's interviewing techniques......he's interviewing the

lead character in Shogun.......and he, Stephen, IS THE GUY!!!!! not the guest.....is’s Stephen because he can say one word in Japanese!!! 🤮 🤮 🤮. Give me a break. Have always hated his one upmamship. Ugh......and sorry have said this a bazillion Times, don’t even know why I watch him. I guess I think he’ll change AND HE NEVER DOES. JMHO. and I know so many of you think he’s the best......

2. I think he's the best interviewer on late night TV

He asks questions nobody else asks, and often gets guests to open up and talk about interesting, sometimes intimate topics other than what they are there to promote.

4. Really?? I try to watch, and all I keep getting is i'm,(Stephen) better then this guest.

I try to watch with open eyes......and it’s just the same for me, he ALWAYS tries to out do his guest. Sorry, it is just my opinion, I loved him on the Colbert Report, but then?? He didn’t have guests, and it really was ALL ABOUT STEPHEN COLBERT. Now on the late show, it’s STILL about Stephen, BUT. he has guests now.

Those are two of the more memorable ones that stand out for me, but there are many others.

Melissa Villaseñor was another great one.

So he kinda of plays this egotistical character at times for laughs.

8. and I know Jimmy Kimmel?? Ya, I like Jimmy Kimmel....he's kind crude,

but his interviews are great......HE LET’S THE GUEST TALK. HE LETS THEM BE THE SHOW, and just gives the guest the opportunity to show the fans/audience who they are. Love Jimmy”s technique of interviewing.

10. Agree. Seth Meyers projects warmth to Colbert's coolness.

I'd place Seth Meyers at the top, then Kimmel, Colbert and Fallon, though all of them are very talented.
