On this day, November 11, 1980, the ABC sitcom "Too Close for Comfort" debuted on TV.

The sad thing is the intro wasn't taped.

Ted Knight eventually gave himself a concussion falling off the couch every Tuesday.

Season 1, episode 5, 'Que Sara, Sara'. I finally found it on a streaming channel. At one point Sara is holding a bunch of record albums in their apartment. Ours is on top with half the name blacked out (so they wouldn't have to pay us). The sixth season lost a lot when the daughters left the show. The back of the album with our photos was also used in the 1984 movie. "Night of the Comet".

Sort of a sci-fi cult classic. When they find the radio station, the blond girl starts playing dj. She has a stack of albums in her hands. Ours is the one you see. I'm on the lower right.
