Kimmel Was Supposed To Be First Run Tonight But ......

it's a rerun of a Sept.2024 show.

I heard that people are being told to evacuate in the Hollywood Hills and that the Hollywood Sign, the Hollywood Bowl and Chinese Theater are in question.

Kimmel's Theater is just about across the street from the Chinese Theater.

Has anyone heard about how bad things are in that vicinity of LA?

Plus, many of the show crew and Jimmy live in the danger zones so they might be evacuating their homes instead.

I can live without the show if they are avoiding fires in which ever way.

Imagine a fire like this in NYC! Many buildings are destroyed or about to be destroyed. Chateau Marmont is close to being burned down now....I am in tears watching the news. Too many of my coworkers and students lost homes in San Diego in 2003 and 2007, it is beyond terrible. At least fire departments are being allowed to fly water carrying planes after dark. That was a severe problem 20 years ago. The winds would kick up and there was nothing coming as far as water goes. The fire jumped across 8 lanes of the freeway I drove to school. It looked like the lunar surface.

I'm sure for the safety of all concerned, it's better to pre-empt.
It will probably continue, unless they have another studio away from Los Angeles.

Went to a live showing of his show in 2023 and the staff were very loyal to them and he showed respect to them also during the taping.
