Lotsa people love him….and I was not one of them. He was never funny to me….JMHO. I always thought the other people around him were funny…..they made him funny, but in my humble opinion, HE WAS NOT FUNNY.

On SNL. I remember in junior high kids talking about it. Of course he did "the news", but his imitation of JF was so over-the-top slapstick and it just had an electric vibe at the time. Of course, 'Caddyshack' and then 'National Lampoon's Vacation' put him in the top tier. Temporarily of course. He is insufferable.
