Rep. Ruben Gallego, Kari Lake agree to debate; here's when they'll take the stage
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The two major candidates hoping to replace Sen. Kyrsten Sinema agreed on Thursday to a debate.
Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego and Republican Kari Lake confirmed they will participate in a debate on Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. You can watch it live on Arizona’s Family and streaming live on AZFamily.com.
In last month’s primary, Lake beat Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, who had contended he was more electable and the best candidate to secure the border. But he struggled to raise the money needed to appeal to voters.

However, that’ll be a tough task, as earlier this month, a poll from HighGround Public Affairs found that 50% of likely voters support Gallego while 39% back Lake.
