CG council election has 5 in field thus far

CASA GRANDE — With this year’s primary election on July 21, four candidates have submitted a statement of interest for Casa Grande City Council seats. Current Mayor Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons is the only candidate thus far filing a statement for that job.

The council candidates thus far are current members Anthony Edwards and Matt Herman along with Billie Davis and Matthew Siedlecki.

The nomination deadline is 5 p.m. on March 23.

For any seats not filled by a majority vote, the general election is on Nov. 3.
