Arkansas
Related: About this forumPlease call KHOG 29/40 TV in NWA and tell them to stop the voter disinformation!
I awoke at 5AM to hear their reporter, John Paul, live from Ft. Smith, telling people that the most important thing today is for them to bring their photo ID to the voting place! Arkansas does not require a photo ID and will except just about anything with your name and address!
I called their news desk a tad after 6AM after he repeated it on the 5:30 and 6 AM segments. They said they were in the process of correcting it, but he repeated it for a 4th time at 6:30, right before I left the house.
The 'news' desk is 479-783-8133.
I'm shocked that I live in an age where the 'news reporters' can just throw out disinformation and aid the GOP in suppressing minority votes and those of the aged.

(3,747 posts)Thanks for the heads up. The way they have disenfranchised people in NWA is by having our local affiliates come from Missouri! It will take an act of congress (literally) to get us local info.
BTW I called and spoke to Melissa in the "newsroom" and she thanked me for my call. Not, 'we'll get right on that"
