Some of my favorite tweets in the past few days have been regarding these hogs.

from the documentaries and videos and new stories I have seen, feral pigs are skiddish and shy. They come out at night and will destroy a backyard or a chunk of field crops. There pig hunting and trapping companies out there that will take care of his feral hogs.

The whole I need an AR to get rid of the pigs is bee ess. As soon as he shoots one the rest will run. A regular bolt action rifle will take care of his needs. It will just take him time to whittle down the numbers if they come back at all after one or two are killed.

We haven't seen them in our neighborhood, but these hogs can weigh up to 1500 pounds and when they're in a pack, they eat everything in their path. They are so huge, they are hard to stop. I can see a benefit to an assault rifle in that instance and El Dorado is in the swamp land and they would be prevalent there.
