Fayetteville could see Sunday alcohol sales on the November ballot

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — People in Fayetteville could see Sunday alcohol sales on the November ballot.

The Fayetteville City Council met Tuesday night for its regular agenda session. They decided to add the Sunday alcohol sales issue to the agenda.

"We will discuss it as we do all items. And next week, we will vote on whether or not we want this item to go on the ballot in November for the November election so the residents can actually vote on it," said Fayetteville City Council Member D'Andre Jones.

The group Keep Our Dollars in Fayetteville got enough signatures to bring the issue of Sunday alcohol sales to the City Council.
