Related: About this forumHow do I find the number of my ballot for tracking?
It's my understanding that my ballot has a unique number I can use to track it. Can you tell me where I would find it? Thanks.

There is a "Where's My Ballot" button
You do not need the ballot number.

(65 posts)Deposited my Ballot in the local drop box, Oct 7. Received confirmation of drop off location and "VOTE COUNTED" on Oct 9. California Election Law allows for mail-in-ballots to be counted prior to election day, with results posted after 8pm election day.
Im glad we count them ahead of time. Id hate a delay for CA to count the votes.

(37,086 posts)You should see a 'track your mail-in ballot' option. You'll need to give them your name, DOB, last four digest of social security number, and the like. There really isn't a unique tracking number.

(10,057 posts)Go here, put in your info and it will tell you where your ballot is.
Information required is your first and last name, your birthdate and your ZIP code.
If you give them your email address or cell phone number, it will send you alerts letting you know when your ballot has been received by the registrar's office, and when your ballot has been counted!

When I first received notice that the ballot was on its way to me, it said it could take up to seven days to arrive. It took two days.
I put it in the mailbox yesterday afternoon, and by last night I had received notice that it had already been through the post office and was on its way to the registrar's office.
