With the 24 hr news cycles we - outside California - have not heard anything about the CA fires. I did notice a cooler temp so perhaps it helped.

that said there could still be pockets of fire in the valleys especially on the eastern side of the sierras near mammoth lakes area... and admittedly there aren't a lot of cams near there.

(29,816 posts)there are literally hundreds of cameras on top of PGE power line towers around the state... I scan stills from a dozen or so every day.
Right now I see no evidence of large or small fires in CA.
I know northern CA got a little rain in the last few days... and there is snow in the Sierras. I don't know about southern CA.
