Please thank her for her service but perhaps it's time she resign now so Gov Newsom can replace her.

(15,325 posts)3. There's nothing humorous about Sen Feinstein's statement on SC/Roe v Wade
It is honest, true & absolutely right.
Sen Feinstein would know, as she's lived the history of Women's fight for equality
You find this funny ???

(10,599 posts)4. I Find It Funny That She Would Retire Because People Tweet At Her
She's got a cushy job, probably could stay there until she turned 100.
There's No Chance she's going anywhere, anytime soon.

The Texas abortion law that went into effect yesterday is an assault on womens reproductive rights. Similar laws have been struck down as unconstitutional and this one should be too.
Roe v. Wade has been the law for nearly 50 years and has been upheld in court dozens of times. I remember the days when abortion was illegal and we simply cant return to those times.

A new Texas state law took effect today that bans most abortions after just six weeks of pregnancy. Nearly half a century after the Supreme Court guaranteed the right to abortion, its shameful the courts didnt step in to block this unconstitutional law.
Much respect & honor to your many years of dedicated accomplishments for human & civil rights, LGBTQ, Women....
Thank you.
