followed by a larger rupture.

That said, larger quakes are often preceded by swarms of smaller quakes.

Helps to ease the fault lines.



Too many quakes around here for me lately, that's all I can say and all of these storms too!

Still have the failed fence to deal with.

What a nightmare this is!

Difficult to get much rest with this going on!

I think I'll go back to bed. I see one of my cats is in bed waiting for me, so off I shall go!

Another one at 2:02 a.m. this morning.

A 3.5 on the richter scale. 3.5 8.7 mi WSW of Ferndale, CA

I was just saying last night that this is what you call earthquake weather.

Quiet and still, nothing moving.

No wind and very humid outside.
