Related: About this forumRight Wing Blog Smears Katie Porter in Advance of Party Convention
TheLiberalOCThe Gateway Pundit, a hardcore right wing blog that rarely says a bad word about Donald Trump or MAGA Republicans, carried a story Wednesday about Rep. Katie Porters horrible divorce. The blog release pages of the divorce filing, which have not been authenticated, that smear Katie as an abusive spouse.
Its beyond nasty and left local Democrats pondering how the blog got the records, if they were accurate, and who leaked them.
Theories range from Porters ex-husband sent them to the Gateway Pundit or the campaign of Adam Schiff, Porters main Democratic opponent for U.S. Senate, leaked them in advance of the California State Party convention, where endorsements will be made.
The Gateway Pundit blog has run several stories ragging on Porter since her January announcement alleging Porter is abusive to staff and used racial slurs. None of these stories made it past hardcore right wing media. But as this particular post included snapshots of the divorce filings, its below the belt stuff that Democrats need to be aware of to call out the acrimony and hypocrisy of MAGA media.

It's a shame, but my guess is Katie has too many enemies and not enough money to win a senate seat.

However, that DOES not mean that allegations in the filed pleadings are true and correct.

Katie porter raises eye-popping $4.5 million in first quarter as a senate candidate from an army of small dollar donors.
Congresswoman Katie Porter raised a stunning $4.5 million in her first quarter as a candidate for the U.S. Senate, nearly doubling the amounts raised by Kamala Harris and Alex Padilla, the last two Democratic candidates to win Senate seats in California, during their first quarters as U.S. Senate candidates. Like in every campaign she has ever ran, Porter is refusing donations from Big Oil, pharmaceutical, Wall Street, payday lender, and other corporate PACs.
Dave Min raises over $520,000 in first quarter.
Today [April 4], State Senator Dave Min reported raising over $520,000 from January 18th to March 31st for his campaign for Congress in Californias 47th Congressional District. Since launching his campaign, Min has built an incredible campaign team, with endorsements from incumbent Congresswoman Katie Porter, SEIU California, the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucuss political leadership ASPIRE PAC, and more than a 100 local and state elected officials.
