My sister has a contingency plan in case the fucking moron steals the election...she has a dual citizenship for Italy (so do I). If it happens then we are off to Italy...Ciao USA!!! The Italian govt is pretty much a mess but if the GQP are to be our fascist leaders then Italy will be looking pretty good in comparison.

during my art school days in Rome. I was finally able to get to my portfolios at my parents' house on Sat and looked at my artwork for the first time in over 30 years. I had forgotten I had made an etching of the various types of the bread in Rome. I loved their rolls in Rome that are "rosetta" designs and hollow in the center. Yum! I can still taste them.

My husband and I are in the process of obtaining our dual citizenship and our appointment with the consulate is in March. We are so excited to have options and planning a move to my family's region in the next few years.

They cannot start the conversation with "Do you know why I pulled you over?" Instead they have to begin by telling you why they pulled you over.

"Some of the highest-profile bills passed by the Legislature in 2023 will not take effect until later. Fast food workers will get a minimum wage of $20 per hour on April 1. Health care workers are scheduled to see the first minimum wage increase on June 1. Laws requiring businesses to report their emissions and financial risks from climate change won't take effect until 2026."

I thought this was a big plus too until I read that Pizza Hut fired delivery drivers so they would save more money in 2024. It seems like businesses are always trying to rip us off.

Is this law with the traffic stops written so that the cops have to tell you first and that way you do not implicate yourself?

‘I swear I met a cop with Alzheimer’s! He said “Do you know why I pulled you over?”

Can’t use Sarah Silberman’s version either:

Officer, “Do you know why I pulled you over?”
Driver, “C average in High School?”
