MPUSD seeks voter approval for $340 million bond in upcoming November election

MARINA, Calif. — The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District is putting a $340 million bond before voters in November.

The money is expected to be used for facility upgrades and employee housing if approved.

The district has 23 campuses and the newest facility was built in 1960.

This $340 million bond will ensure the schools in this district are brought up to date to meet modern standards.
