4 compete for Rialto mayoral seat in November election

Rialto voters in the November election have four choices for mayor, including an incumbent who has been on the dais for more than two decades and a former congressman.

On the ballot Nov. 5 are:

Current mayor Deborah Robertson, who’s been mayor for 12 years and served on the Rialto City Council for 10 years before that.

Joe Baca, who’s served on the Rialto City Council for two years, after previously serving on the San Bernardino Community College District Board, and in the state Assembly, state Senate and House of Representatives.

Rafael Trujillo, who’s served on the Rialto City Council for eight years, after eight years on the West Valley water board.

Political newcomer Chè Rose Wright, an entrepreneur and vice president of the San Bernardino chapter of the NAACP.
