Sent my mail-in ballot for CA General 2024, and got it received and added. To be opened

and fully counted on November 5. Nearly everyone/everything was fully local Democratic party endorsed/approved. Only 1 candidate and 1 measure they didn't have an endorsement on.

It was easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy. No standing in line to vote in-person. No waiting until November 5.

BTW, I opted in and got an email and a text when my ballot was received and accepted by the local county registrar's office. All voting everywhere should be done like this. Make it easy to vote, for everyone that legally can.

Yeah, I had to do that in the Primary. The top 2 or 4 vote-getters would face off this November 4lbs Monday #3

I have no problem with your ballot!

I’ve finally made it where I‘m in the mode where I can finally start devoting brain cells on a post-retirement world!

is figuring out who to vote for for city council - pick 4 out of 8 nearly identical candidates (and one eccentric). After several days of reading candidate statements and questionnaires from the local paper Mr. Retrograde and I finally narrowed it down - to different candidates.

But now, as per the ballot, I only had to choose one.

So, I usually went the Democratic endorsed candidate. The local Democratic Party did nearly all the work for me.
