Tioga Pass Road temporarily closed for .... snow forecast.

Tioga Road, a continuation of Highway 120 through the park, will be closed as of (Tuesday) 5 p.m., according to the National Park Service. The iconic road is one of the highest mountain passes in the state and provides access to the eastern side of Yosemite for thousands of travelers each summer, according to the Mono County website.

Grandkids are coming in from Florida, and they want to see a bit more of California than they did the last time (pretty much stuck to SoCal then) -- so Sequoia, Tioga Pass, and Bodie are on my current list of places to check out as we explore the eastern part of the state.
