More Sacramento County voting centers open ahead of Tuesday primary election

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Sacramento County voters have more opportunities to cast their ballots ahead of Tuesday's primary election as additional vote centers opened across the county Saturday.

Residents can use the more than 90 vote center locations to cast their ballot before election day.

"We're just starting to run our errands, and this is the stop along the way, so it makes it easy," said Bridget Mulkerin, a Sacramento County voter who cast her ballot early.

Election officials expect turnout to increase as election day approaches, with many voters traditionally waiting until the final days to cast their ballots.
