Still haven't voted? More than 200 vote centers are now open across San Diego County

SAN DIEGO — As Election Day approaches, San Diego County election officials are expanding voting options, opening more than 200 vote centers across the county ahead of the June 2 gubernatorial election.

The additional locations come as more voters begin casting ballots in person or dropping off completed vote-by-mail ballots.

“People tend to wait until the last day of voting on June 2, but we strongly encourage people to take advantage of the early voting,” San Diego County Registrar of Voters Shawn Brom said.

A total of 220 vote centers and more than 150 ballot drop boxes are now available throughout San Diego County. Brom said voters who cast their ballots before Election Day may encounter shorter wait times.
