Colorado

You might have heard about me lately. I've been in the news from time to time. Did you know you can buy legal weed out here? Folks seem to like that. And we have a pretty good football team with a pretty good quarterback -- the Denver Broncos and that guy Peyton Manning. Except when we play Seattle. They just have our number.
There's something big going on here that no one seems to be talking about. This has me a little worried. OK, to be honest, it has me more than a little worried. I'm Colorado. I have this cool, funky, fun, wild west reputation -- I'm pretty and smart and fit and people like me. It's fun to be me.
Here's the thing. I'm afraid no one will like me much after the election this November.

i've been keeping an eye on the coloradoan and haven't seen anything about it in either the news or opinion sections. of course, their web site is such a cluster that i wouldn't even know if i missed it. i also don't think i've seen any ads either way, not that i can remember anything more than a non-stop gardner rules, udall drools garbage.

I thought it was a bit ironic in the Blue Book FOR Argument: ""Under Amendment 67 a person who kills an unborn human being could be charged with homicide. By including unborn human beings in the definition of "person" the measure may establish the legal foundation to protect the unborn by ending the practice of abortion in Colorado."
Argument AGAINST:"The measure could make abortion a crime, including those for victims of rape or incest."
They wrote it because they want to protect pregnant women, right?
I think the best paper in the area is the Boulder Weekly and it's free. It's practically the only one that's covered fracking fairly. Sure can't get close to the truth from the Denver Post.
