Colorado deserves better

Colorado has lost a statesman and gained an opportunist. As congressman, Gardner has spent four years ignoring the constituents of his district, reliably showing up only for photo ops. Now he has an entire state to ignore.

If it wasn't for Hickenlooper coming back and (it looks like) winning, I'd be on the verge of leaving. The house districts are so gerrymandered that the Repubs are safe (I go from Cory Cardner non-representing me to Ken Buck, and the Dems didn't even bother to campaign against him), and the state is apparently okay with naked lying from one of its senators. And that acceptance speech last night - sure Denver Post, that's someone who's about "work across the aisle" to "reach bipartisan consensus" - what a crock of shit!

6 f---ing years of this self-serving dirtbag <sigh>

He's a good man. I sent his campaign a couple of checks and volunteered some phone time. District 4 is nuts, but so is my county. Only good thing, we are in with Boulder, so we get Jared Polis, and you should hear the local reds howl about that.

I know I defended Udall's campaign a while back, and I was wrong about that, but the media elected Cory Gardner and almost elected the just as awful Bob Beauprez.
