Where to find an apartment in Denver other than craigslist?

I don't think I can move into one of those condo-y places, I'd like to find a nice basement apartment or duplex. Under $900, or $1000 if utilities are included. I have a large old dog. It wasn't this bad when I moved out here. But my current housing situation is getting untenable so I'm looking again. There has to be some place to look other than just craigslist, because the pickings are really slip there, even looking for housemates. I mean, I'm 50. The 50 year olds don't want a pot smoker (even though I'm gainfully employed and also in grad school) and the 420-friendly homes are packed with 20-year-olds. I can't be the only older single sorta-hippy woman who has her shit together looking for housing in Denver! Any one have any ideas?

It has a long history, and plenty of spaces that you're looking for, pet friendly. What more can you ask for
