Some guys seem to think they own their spouses. My sister was married to one of those and he was always harassing her because he decided that nobody else could have her but him, even over a decade after the divorce. He slapped her in front of our mother and their children when she told him she wanted a divorce. After the divorce, my sister and I shared an apartment for a time, I supported her and their children for years because he refused to pay child support. I told him to leave during an argument they were having at our place when she told him to leave and he refused... he told me to shut up... wasn't my business. the girls were there and crying. I told him I paid for the place and it was also MY home and he had better make a quick choice (I referred to him as "macho man" at that point) and gave him two choices. He could leave of his own accord or be humiliated in front of his girls when i threw him down a flight of concrete stairs. After ten seconds of looking at the heavy chair I was about to heft and hit him with he made the sound decision to walk out on his own volition. Then he vandalized my car and I had him arrested and he had to buy me a new car. They had shared custody so we were never free of the jerk and my sister was finally free of him legally when the youngest turned 18. He was always stalking her when she was on dates and at work.

Assholes like that need some serious mental health treatment... maybe this guy will be sentenced to treatment now.
