Mobile Justice Colorado (new ACLU app for IOS & android) to doc LE encounters

I received notice of this from ACLU and think it something we all might want to include on our smart phones--just in case. Just search for "MOBILE JUSTICE COLORADO" under your app search.

Dear
Over the last few years, several high-profile cases in Colorado and throughout the country have demonstrated the critical role that cell phone recordings can play in holding police accountable for their actions, and sometimes even saving lives.
Recording the police is a fundamental right, and we encourage everyone to use it. That's why I was proud to stand outside the Denver Police Headquarters this morning and officially launch Mobile Justice Colorado.
Mobile Justice Colorado is a new smartphone app, available in English and Spanish, that empowers Coloradans to witness and record interactions with law enforcement.
Download the app for free today!
Mobile Justice Colorado has four main features:
• Record - allows you to record interactions with law enforcement in audio and video files that are automatically sent to the ACLU of Colorado, so that they cannot be deleted or destroyed.
• Witness - alerts nearby Mobile Justice App users when another user is stopped by police so that they can move toward the location and document the interaction.
• Report - gives you the option to provide a more detailed account of your interactions with police in an incident report, which will be transmitted directly to the ACLU of Colorado.
• Rights - provides an overview of your rights and how to protect them when recording or interacting with law enforcement officers.
The app is free and available today!
You have a right to record... use it!
Sincerely,

Nathan Woodliff-Stanley
Executive Director
ACLU of Colorado
