And when he was in the House, Cory Gardner represented my cousin in Castle Rock. She had nothing good to say about him then...

(27,273 posts)He was a typical Republican; worthless. Democrats in my state have come a long way since then. Cory Gardner was a big step back, but I expect Clinton and Democrats to win big here in November.

(116,780 posts)I don't know anything about Armstrong, but his death is newsworthy no matter how people felt about him.
I'm glad to hear that Clinton and the Democrats are looking strong in Colorado this year--hopefully the same feeling will extend to some of the states nearby. I'm fairly sure that New Mexico will be blue and still think that Arizona and Utah could vote that way also since blue is on the opposite of the color wheel from orange.
