Residents of homeless camp under MLK Bypass in Colorado Springs told to leave

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) More than 40 homeless people living in a tent city under the MLK bypass, will have to find somewhere else to go.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says they have to move by Tuesday, citing trespassing and littering violations.

"People just don't want to see people in need. When they're out on a jogs or out on a bike ride they just don't want to see it,” Trig Bundgaard said.

Bundgaard is with the Coaltion for Compassion and Action, a non-profit that helps the homeless.
