(1,396 posts)I've ever seen. We have about 4" in Broomfield, would probably be 8" or so if it weren't so wet.

(91,936 posts)the storm that hit us in Montana last night. Last night was not pretty. First we got an inch or so of rain, then ten to twelve inches of wet, heavy snow, then some lightning, then a couple more inches of rain. When it got light out it was clear that one in seven trees in town were damaged from snow and wind, big trees all over the place. Clean up will take about a week in our small town, and then we have more rain coming and the river is only two feet below flood stage as it has been all week. When it warms up tomorrow, the snow on the mountains will be melting. The Missouri River will be flooding for weeks down river.

(1,396 posts)so haven't seen any broken limbs. Not so with our neighbors' trees though. Snow is expected to last all night long and double what we have now.
