GOP does a 69 at the University of Colorado.

The CU football team lost 69-14. You might recall that GOP governor Bill Owens appointed the president of the school, Bruce Benson. Benson lost a governor's race in Colorado and he's a geologist/oilman.

Benson was unqualified for the job and this was a patronage appointment--69 in essence. In fact Owens tried this at all of the state's universities. Now we see the results and it couldn't be more clear what happened.

Benson has said that he still has confidence in the coach, Embree, and the athletic director, Bohn. Most Coloradoans like Embree, but he has no head coaching experience. We also know that Bohn is terrible. Both should be fired TODAY! Things will not get better with these two in charge--ever.

Benson should also be fired. The promise of his hiring was that he could raise money. Yet tuition has gone up drastically every year since he took over. Get rid of the GOP 69'ers at our college campuses and make our state great again!
