(40,216 posts)and a young man together in line ahead of me (grandma/grandson?). The young fellow obviously had very serious problems - impeded speech, scars all over his head, not sure exactly what he suffered from, but absolutely major care issues. I think she was just showing him how the voting process works.
30 minutes later I saw them again, in the 6A Aubuchon, then walking out and getting into an SUV plastered with tea party/patriot no-new-taxes, cut-cut-cut bumper stickers .
I just shook my head and walked away ..............

I'm in Blue Springs (KC, MO suburb) and at 8am it was pretty busy.

(1,933 posts)in western NY. Paper ballots take more time but they're tangible proof if a recount is ever needed - heaven forbid!
