Basalt unofficial election results show 2 new councilors
The unofficial results of the town of Basalt’s municipal election on Tuesday show that Elyse Hottel and Greg Shaffran were elected to two seats on Basalt’s Town Council, along with councilor Angela Anderson, who was re-elected.
Anderson received 396 votes, Hotel 467 and Shaffran 516. The remaining candidate for the three town council seats, Benjamin Fierstein, received 342 votes.
Candidates will take their seats on April 28.
