Scrapple is Pennsylvanian. Give us something better for our group quote

(63,645 posts)And the Scrapple capital of the world is in Delaware.
First, could you tell me where there is a community of Amish people living in Delaware since Scrapple is of Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) origins? That means scrapple migrated to Delaware from Pennsylvania.
And seriously, have you ever seen how scrapple is made? If you did you would never touch that stuff again. I use to love it too until I was at my uncle's house and he was butchering. Scrapple is what they do with all the leftovers from butchering that they don't want to throw away. And sometimes things get in there you really don't want to eat.
Can't we just say 'Home of Joe Biden' - that is something we can all be proud about!

(62,444 posts)By "nobody eats it south of Claymont" the word "nobody" may have been misunderstood in context.
Of course they may eat any number of things below the canal, but who has time to take up anthropology to figure out the culture down there.
