I got a pop-up ad online pointing out that whenever the Washington Capitals score five or more goals in a game, area Papa Johns franchises give you 50 percent off on regular menu pizzas. It seems thats in effect today. The magic code is CAPS50. If you are so inclined, you can look into this.
I do not hold stock in Papa Johns, so I get nothing out of this, other than a few extra pounds if I take them up on this offer. I have no idea if you have to sign up for phone app; I am not a regular customer of theirs.
I know this is spammy, but maybe it will help someone plan tonight's dinner. I've been known to make Friday night pizza night. Saturday night, too. There'd be leftovers
There's a Papa John's near where I take glass bottles to be recycled. This could be the night.

(15,359 posts)I do like the Caps though. Dillon is my man! I hope the Caps don't protect him and the Kraken get him, though I'm sure they will protect him.

It's not enough to earn them back into my good graces. 50% off or no.

(60,768 posts)Whenever we had get-togethers at work, they always served Papa John's pizza. There must be one nearby. Free pizza? Sure, my favorite kind.
I've never been to a Papa John's outlet and bought one in person. First time for everything, maybe. If it's raining, forget it.
For a lot of people, that 50 percent off might make a difference.

I just wouldn't, personally.
