(11,228 posts)Just to make it even more challenging, we had 40 MPH winds in the DC area last night. I mean, I respect anyone who can run in high heels, let alone in 40 MPH winds!

For the record, the engineering school I attended had, at the time, a higher percentage of students who were female than any other engineering school in the US.

(1,214 posts)If you're a woman, you shouldn't be required to wear heels (personally, as a woman, I go so far as to only own negative heel shoes). On the other hand, as a man you shouldn't be required to not wear heels.
It's all about personal preference. It's all about choice.
