but totally worth it for seeing cherry blossoms at Stanton Park and the Capitol area parks before they blow away.

Thunderstorms thrive under certain conditions. The two most basic elements that cause a thunderstorm to develop are:

Moisture
Rapidly rising warm air

More wind tomorrow, forecast hi 44, moving up Tues and Wed, WAY up Thurs with rain. Friday 'best' day, hi 63, partly cloudy.

I wore warm socks, a down jacket, and warm hat. Perfect for having fewer tourists out seeing cherry blossoms because they were unprepared.

Definitely fewer tourists!

The wind here kept me in.

Used to work near Tidal Basin, so had many lunch time Cherry Blossom Time walks.
