Saturday's rainfall in DC really showed off the hit or miss nature of summer showers/storms.

Some areas saw up to 4-5" (Anne Arundel County) -- others saw less than 0.25." Reagan National picked up 1.39" - a July 16 record. How much did you get?

Like Saturday, we have a 1 out of 5 risk for severe storms in the DC area Sunday. Storm chances increase as the afternoon wears on-- and peak in the evening hours -- but will again be hit or miss. Just have a plan to shelter if you hear thunder or monitor storms on a radar app.
