Florida finished 2020 with the highest daily number of COVID-19 cases ever.

The number of daily new cases in Florida on December 31, 2020 was 16,827.
The next highest number was 15,300 on July 12, 8 days after Independence Day.
The blue lines are individual days and the red line shows the 7-day average.
