ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Publix supermarkets have again expanded the counties where the grocer is offering coronavirus vaccine appointments and with the latest addition now all of Central Florida’s 10 counties have Publix pharmacies with shots.

Publix updated its vaccine registration website Tuesday with an update saying beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, eligible residents would be able to make vaccine appointments. The shots would be administered beginning Friday.

By 10 a.m. Wednesday all new appointments were filled at the new Central Florida locations.

Palm Beach county above and even Monroe county below are included on that list, but not Broward (or Miami-Dade).

and sat on it 2 1/4 hours until it took me to "sign up". At that point my county wasn't even listed as an option. I am in Pinellas which voted blue last election. Publix has been catering to red counties from the get-go. Another batch comes in for Friday 7 am signup. I will give it the old college try but am not expecting much.
