Florida
Related: About this forumI registered at myvaccine.fl.gov yesterday.
Today I have an appointment for next Tuesday. Anyone over 50 can register in Florida now. Apparently I'm getting the Pfizer shot, so I guess I have to go back 21 days later. Anyway, if you live an Florida and want to register you can here:

Even if you're not over 50 yet, you might be able to pre-register.

(778 posts)I signed up January 17th on my County website and my County never joined the State website. Right now they are giving shots for people who made appointments February 18th and I still wouldn't have gotten my shot had I not looked elsewhere. I did call them when the date said early February and they said it was pending and they had forwarded it to the site I would be getting my shot at. I learned that some of the places hadn't gotten vaccines for weeks. My understanding is that since many more vaccinations are being sent to the state and we have the huge FEMA sites, it is much easier to get a shot. I am in the first group of 65 and over.

(3,010 posts)I'm 57. I thought I was just going to pre-register. I was very surprised to get the call this morning. They're giving the shots in a park that's on the other side of the county from me, but I don't mind driving. This is really important. Anyway, I hope that you're able to get your shot soon if you haven't already.

(778 posts)We had been searching all over even though we had signed up on the County's site. That was when it first opened and there was a huge frenzy with no vaccines coming into the state and a lot of people wanting one. As soon as CVS started offering shots in our County, we very easily got signed up. Friday is our 2nd shot.
