Florida
Related: About this forumOnly 35.9% in Florida are fully vaccinated....
per NBC News.
That percentage makes me hesitant to go anywhere indoors without a mask on.

(27,257 posts)My county is still at 45.3% and given the demographics of some of the areas, I am not confident it will grow by much. In fact, I'll be surprised of Michigan hits 60% and I desperately hope to be proven wrong.

I go out to dinner on the weekends now. That was one of the things I missed.

(778 posts)I have never worn a mask when I am out for walks, but I walk in an area where others are also very good at Social distancing. But inside, it is totally different. I have worn a mask since it was originally brought up and I have no plans on taking it off in the near future. Even though I know they have really let up on Contracting it from surfaces, I still walk around with my antibacterial wipes when I am in a store. Just too many other things could come into play if everyone is without a mask. Thankfully I am fully vaccinated, but I'm not sure if there is anything definitive on the amount of protection we get from the different variants and some pop up frequently.
What scares me is the fact that my own dentist and his staff are not vaccinated and have no plans on doing it. I will probably not go back until this is totally over unless it's necessary. I went in for my physical and learned that one of the people doing the testing is not vaccinated and will not get the shots. I honestly don't like to have them that close to me.
