Anyone in Central Florida (Orlando to Seminole county) have laptop repair referrals?

This is a secondary laptop that will require heroic efforts. I would like to have it repaired just to have a backup laptop in case something happens to the primary.

Over a year ago, the Best Buy geeks told me that it needed a new battery, a charger and a new power-button, but the laptop was out of warranty so they recommended that I take it to a local repair shop, because it would be cheaper. Because of Covid, I waited until now to do it.

So, I took it to a local repair place and they said that I would need a new casing, which would make the repair cost prohibitive. If not, they could rig the power button, but the lid would never close.

So, that's the issue. I already have the battery to replace in the machine, but I'm looking for some off the main beat repair shop that has enough Dell parts to make this workable.

Any suggestions?

to shop around for a new unit that does what I want it to for a reasonable price. That's a very personal
decision.

I have a new computer, or have had it for more than a year.

But a new computer with the features I want will be pretty pricey. (Trump helped me pay for the last one!!!) But I never know where we will be financially when my current laptop breaks down. Which is why I'm trying to be proactive.
