It has begun-no women's right to privacy in Florida

DeSatan is requesting FL Supreme Court attack the state constitution amendment that protects privacy, so women can't control their reproductive bodily autonomy, stating the Court "previously misinterpreted Florida's right to privacy as including a right to an abortion and we reject that interpretation."

It's just too tempting for these women, miniority and poor hating white male christofascists to not jump on this.

With this new appointment, four of the seven justices on the court will have been named by SeSantis since taking office in 2019. It's clear DeSantis will have his court re-interpret Florida's constitutional right to privacy, and effectively ban abortion here.

There's a competition going on right now among Republican presidential hopefuls to see which one can most cruelly attack women, minorities, LGBTQ folks, immigrants, the poor and just about everyone else on the extremist rightwing christians' persecution wish list.

Bryan Griffin said it in response to recent judge's decision to issue a temporary injunction against FL House Bill 5, which would impose a 15 week abortion ban. The ban was set to go into effect shortly, maybe July 1, but judge ruled it "unconstitutional in that it violates the privacy provision of the Florida constitution..." Will provide link later. It is in the First District Court of Appeals for now.

The lower court ruled in favor of the ACLU and Planned Parenthood and the state as appealed.
