Sometimes, I miss Miami

I grew up there is the 70s and 80s. I have many happy memories of my mom and me going to Miami Beach, Key Biscayne. I know, politically, Florida is a shitshow.

We were lucky to own a modest home. Miami, esp now, it's for the mega-rich. I almost moved back 4 yrs ago, but it didn't work out for a variety of reasons.

Feeling nostalgic

lived in Ft. Lauderdale in the 80's....crazy fun in a good way. We were planning to move to Key West from California, then Covid hit. Then Florida went completely crazy in a bad way. I'm sure we'll visit KW in the future....but that's it, unless the state returns to sanity.

Well, Coral Gables actually…. In the 60s and early 70s until I graduated high school and went to Tallahassee to attend FSU. It was a fantastic place to grow up.
