My sister lives right outside of Tallahassee and my niece, her daughter, is on the east coast of South Carolina. I'm a worrier by nature. They've been through a lot of these, but I think this one is different.

They said yesterday that they're not returning home anytime soon - and since they've been gone they've missed two hurricanes that hit their area! And I also have an older friend who is a "snowbird," she spends the winters at a home in Florida - and she's staying put for the duration here, too. My heart goes out to those in the affected area, like you said, this one looks like it's affecting more than the coast...
