13. I think DeSantis likely would have won anyway. I think the 20 points was a fluke

Turnout, and especially Dem turnout, was abysmal in 2022. If I recall correctly, all statewide Republican candidates won by almost 20.

and he will still win because he has an R by his name.
I’ve spoken to her when she was going direct fundraising - a lot of energy and smarts. She’s running a good campaign. She’s close in the polls.
Florida Dems have contested every seat at state and local levels for first time ever. It might make us over perform in the little towns.

She has a shot. But it’s Chinatown.

Add: Harris helps her big in Jax, Tampa, Tallahassee, Tampa , Broward, Miami.

Florida has moved further right. The GOP won 20 of the 28 House races in 2022 with a vote share 6% higher than 2020.

The total statewide vote in those races was 58.25%R / 39.63%D.

Everyone seems to hate Scott, so there is that. Excellent turnout for Harris would also help the odds.

Did a deep dive to research all four Dems on the ticket, and determined DMP has the best chance of beating him.
Mailed my ballot yesterday, and voted for her.

she stands a chance. Can't say how much, 'cause FL Dems are outnumbered, but we won't surrender.
